Role Purpose

Responsible for deployment, administration & support of DDI solutions as well Time protocol solution. Will plan, build, deploy & operate the DDI platforms.The role also supports network event resolution related to DDI and NTP.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Handling DDI incidents escalated from L1 incident management team Configuration and troubleshooting of DDI platforms.
  • Performs problem Mgmt., Capacity Mgt. and Release Management of DDI equipment
  • Escalates the unresolved issues to higher expert groups. Runs the system heath check procedures & provides inputs to L3 teams
  • Implements and rollout Patch updates with planned down time.
  • Maintains and monitors network utilization and make necessary changes whenever required
  • Updates knowledge base based on inputs from L3 resource.
  • Updates Standard Operating Procedures.

Incident Management Team, Technical Project Manager, Technology Manager DDI, Performance Management Team, Server Admin Team

Knowledge And Experience

  • Having 1-2 Years of experience in deployment & operations of DDI platforms, preferably Vital QIP.
  • Good knowledge of monitoring & automation tools,
  • Basic understanding of DNS protocol and DNS roles.
  • Basic understanding of DHCP protocol and client-server communications.
  • Basic understanding time protocols like NTP, PTP etc.
  • Basic knowledge in operating systems like Unix/Linux.
  • Executes tasks individually & provides effective inputs to expert. team.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with both technical & management teams

Competences

Required levels (1– Initial, 2– Basic, 3– Intermediate, 4-Advanced, 5– World Class)
