Job description:
Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) is conducting a 4 months internship at their New Delhi office.
The internship will aim to support the research team in research activities, data collection and data analysis.
Job responsibilities:
- Support desk research
- Support in data collection (through survey/interviews)
- Support in post-processing of data
- Support in data analysis
- Support in report and presentation preparation
Qualification and experience required:
- Under-graduation in Architecture / Civil or Architectural Engineering
- Currently enrolled in Post-graduation (M.Arch. / Urban Planning / M.Sc. / M. Tech), from reputed institutions in India or overseas;
Relevant Experience
Fresher with interest to gain experience in policy research and analysis in sustainable and low energy cooling systems, sustainable/green building design and construction, circular economy, resource efficiency.
- Basic knowledge of data analytical tools and interest in learning data analytics
- Basic understanding of techno-economic analysis and ranking methodology
- Basic programming skills
- Ability to carry out activities with a collaborative spirit with the team
- Foundational understanding of building physics is mandatory
Skillset required:
- Excellent writing skills in English and at least 1 Indian language, preferably Hindi.
- Strong ability to articulate, comprehend and synthesise technical information for people working in policy arena, social/behavioural field will be plus
- Excellent visualisation and presentation skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English is a pre-requisite
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and slide presentation software
