Job description:
Seagate is conducting an internship for Engineers in Pune.
This intern opportunity is in Product Assurance team which is part of WW Quality and Customer Technical Engagement group. Product Assurance team is responsible for End-to-end testing of the product from customer perspective.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Understand the design details of the storage system in test perspective
- Work closely with Development team to understand the product architecture and implementation
- Develop and execute test cases as per the test plan
- Generate test reports
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure full integration of all parts of the system
- Assist with maintaining engineering laboratory and equipment
- Complete internship project as per plan
Qualifications and Experience required:
- You will possess passion and commitment for testing, validating and problem solving
- Positive attitude is necessary and ownership
Experience includes:
- RAID based storage system architectures
- Storage media types, communication media
- Protocols, typical capacity, throughput and latency values, failure modes
- IO generation tools.
- Manual and automated testing
- Troubleshooting
- Industry software test processes and practices
