Job description:
GEA is conducting an interview for the post of Automation Engineer.
Goal: The Global Engineering Pool in India is committed to support interns of Skilled Resources to support projects and Internal standardization activities with in GEA for LPT as well as Other GEA divisions with ultimate aim of generating potential savings for GEA by utilisation low cost resources.
To provide automation and electrical engineering capabilities To assist in the preparation and presentation of tenders and proposals, and delivery of projects.
Upon securing a contract / order the engineer (depending upon the size and complexity of the project) may be required to operate independently or as part of a project team to design, supply, install, commission and document the project.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Software development – HMI , PLC, SCADA
- Site commissioning support
- Software FAT / SAT support
- FDS write up
- Remote Site support
- Various documentation preparation
Task:
- Software Logic Development in Rockwell RS Logix 5000
- HMI Screen development in Factory Talk ME / SE
- SCADA Screen Development in Rockwell, Wonderware Intouch
- FDS write up and update as per developed program
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls or similar education background
- 1-7 year of experience required
- Experience on any particular Dairy / Food / Beverages / Brewery Industry
Skills required:
- Know how of basic automation platform – e.g. Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider etc. Rockwell is most preferable
- Know how of various programming languages on S88 standard e.g. ladder, STL, FBD
- Ignition Platform knowledge
- RS Batch / In-Batch Knowledge would be an added advantage
- In-depth knowledge of HMI and SCADA
- Server Client Set-up and System Architecture design knowledge would be an added advantage
- P&ID understanding
- Basic knowledge of Electrical drawing reading and components
- Team player
- Good Communication skill
- Fault finding skill and Self learning capability
Languages known:
- Must have English
- Good to have Regional Language
- Preferred Hindi
Travel Requirements:
Extensive travel will be required (Approx. 60%), Involving extended periods on sites throughout abroad mostly in Americas.
