The first in product and test or validation engineering, then a second complementary rotation where you’ll dive deeper into manufacturing, quality, design verification or validation engineering.
In this role, you’ll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to your assigned product portfolio, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitates cross-functional teams for problem solving. You’ll also take a leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in TI wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving.
The first rotation assignment places you on a product/test engineering team in one of TI’s product lines or TI’s Test, Technology and Product Engineering group. During this assignment, you will gain a broad knowledge of the wide range of products within the product line, become proficient with TI’s various testers, handlers and probers, and gain hands-on experience designing a board to test a device.
This rotation is followed by another 12-month exciting assignment, in either an engineering role in TI’s WW Quality organization, interacting with customers, TI Business Units and Wafer fabrication, a Design Verification and Validation role in a product line, a product engineering role in one of TI’s most advanced fabrication facility, or a test engineering role in TI’s Test, Technology and Product Engineering group.
At the end of your program, you’ll become a member of one of our product/test teams where you will work on leading-edge semiconductor technologies while improving efficiency and quality and directly contributing to TI’s bottom line. Opportunities are available in North America, Asia and Europe.
