Job description:
Western Digital is conducting an interview for the post of ASIC Development Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Hardware modeling of complex ASIC IPs, SOCs and Flash Memory.
- Creating functional tests and test benches to verify the models and the SOCs.
- The ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical skills in area of study
- Interest in HDD, SSD, flash, semiconductor, components, nonvolatile memory industry
- Good knowledge of C/C++/SystemC
