Google India is conducting an interview for the post of Ad Tech Engineer.

About the job:

The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) uses our portfolio of product solutions, including AdSense and Google Marketing Platform tools, to help online publishers grow their businesses. You’ll provide creative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for publishers and developers and identify new opportunities. Some of the largest publishers on the web rely on our products and we’re always trying to exceed their expectations and strengthen our long-term partner relationships. We help grow Google’s business with the largest online publishers and provide account management for users of AdSense, Google Ad Manager and more.

Help grow APAC Publishers through optimizing/debugging their applications and integration with AdMob.

Google helps our partners find better ways to reach their audiences and manage their digital businesses. In return, our partners provide great content for our products, and they syndicate Google products to enhance their sites and apps. Global Partnerships team members expand and support these relationships by continually finding new opportunities and solving technical problems for our partners. The wider Global Partnerships team includes a variety of different organizations, including CorpDev, Emerging Business Development, Strategy and Operations, Google for Startups, Area 120 and our Display Advertising Business.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Focus on bringing the right solutions to customers and accelerating adoption of our products.
  • Have direct engagement with mobile app developers and use insights from working with these companies to influence implementation best practices, product strategy and design. Work closely with the sales teams as the product expert and technical consultant on ad monetization products.
  • Work with external partners on technical product optimizations and issues (e.g. implementation issues, code performance, debugging), creating technical documents (e.g. codelabs, hangout on air), scaling solutions and processes, positioning new products, and driving adoption of new products and features to market with strong uptake and growth.

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Hindi fluently

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in Mobile Apps and/or Web development experience
  • 1 year of customer support experience
  • Experience with common mobile app technologies such as: iOS (Objective-C) and Android (Java) development
  • Experience with monetization solutions (e.g., AdMob, AdManager, AdSense) and Data
  • Analytics Solutions (e.g. Firebase)
  • Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment with little or no guidance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with effective problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
