Job description:
Molex is conducting an interview for the post of ECAD Librarian.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Duty: Create schematic and footprint symbols including 3D models.
- Create medium to complex schematic and footprint symbols.
- Maintain library databases.
- Follow QA guidelines to assure accuracy of parts.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Experience working with Cadence or Altium.
- In-depth knowledge of IPC-7351(mandatory or basic).
- Knowledge of all electronic and mechanical components.
- Ability to search Internet to locate datasheets, footprints and 3D models.
- Ability to effectively communicate with engineering, manufacturing and purchasing groups.
- Ability to work with component manufacturers and suppliers to obtain additional information.
- Knowledge of 3D mechanical software, SolidWorks or NX, a plus but not required.
- Experience with databases such as Access or SQL.
- Be able to maintain Excel spreadsheets.
- Experience of at least 0-2 years in ECAD space
