Job description:
Schneider Electric is conducting an interview for the post of Application Design Engineer.
Position Summary:
The CAD executive will design and document electrical and mechanical drawings for APFC panel
Job responsibilities:
- Create schematics, General Assembly drawings, Bill of Materials according to tender documents and technical offer – using AutoCAD software.
- Create mechanical layouts & prepares sheet metal enclosure fabrication drawings using AutoCAD/PRO-E software
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including assembly drawings and parts drawing
- Make changes to existing designs
- Develop and maintain database libraries
- Provide technical assistance to manufacturing centers
- Prepares and maintain ISO documents related to projects
- Prepares detailed bill of materials and manages SAP activities.
- Adhere to drafting standards and templates
Soft skills:
- Able to communicate effectively within team and cross functional details
- Able to manage details and keep deadlines
- Knowledge of Electrical circuitry functions
- Knowledge of relevant standards (IEC/ISO/IS)
- Knowledgeable with standard dimensioning techniques
- Good knowledge of MS office application
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Diploma/BE in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Min 1 year experience in drafting and design of LT/HT electrical control panels
