Job description:
Emerson is conducting an interview for the post of Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
This Engineer responsibilities deal with the technical documentation related to the ETO orders, meeting the target dates and assuring a high output quality, this to deliver the
documents according to the customer requirements.Main documents to be produced are overall dimensional drawings, instruction and operating manuals, sectional drawings
for all the ETO projects, relevant to all Biffi product range (pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electrics, and relevant accessories and control systems).
- Production of technical documents to be supplied to the customer according to the contractual VDL, and respecting all the project requirements defined by ETO project
engineers - Interaction with ETO project engineers in case of doubts and clarification regarding the technical definition, in order to deliver correct documentation to the customer
- Interaction with Project Manager and Document Controller to support in case of comments received by customer on the supplied documentation, if needed attending
technical meetings with customer - Interaction and support to documentation engineers based out of Fiorenzuola
- Preparing the weekly report and Metrics
- Maintain documents in windchill/Creo/Archiflow/Arianna
- Understand the 2D / 3D System functionality and constantly aid in improving it.
- Individual Contributor, Understand and responds to customer needs.
Qualifications and other requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid-edge/ Teamcenter/ Creo/ Windchill / Auto CAD/ GD & T
- Time Management
- Problem Solving and decision making Skills
Skills Required – Mandatory:
