Job description:
Microchip Technology is hiring Engineers for their Bangalore office.
Job duties and responsibilities:
The Individual will be part of the Wireless Hardware applications engineering team and contribute towards the below activities:
- Validation of Analog, Digital and Power circuitry on wireless hardware.
- Board bring-up, Test, Validation and Characterization of hardware.
- Design and maintenance of the automation test framework.
- Documentation of test plans, test execution and test report generation.
- Design and Development of Hardware board designs.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Electronics & Communications with the experience
- Good understanding of Microcontroller architecture and its peripherals
- Good knowledge of C, Python and/or assembly programming
- Knowledge of Hardware design
- Conversant with lab equipment like Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.
- Knowledge of any schematics capture tool is an advantage
- Knowledge of Python is an advantage
- Knowledge on NI LabVIEW and test stand is an advantage
