Job duties and responsibilities:
- Interpretation of internal and client requirements
- Supervising allocated staff and being responsible for the day to day management of the relevant discipline
- Operating complex mechanical testing equipment
- Maintaining accurate and systematic records in accordance with Element’s internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system
- Report writing, data interpretation and analysis
Skills/requirements:
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant materials related discipline
- Previous experience in an appropriate Engineering environment is a distinct advantage and an understanding of a recognised Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial
- Have ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory
- Have excellent attention to detail along with strong written and verbal communication skills
