Paytm Payments Bank is conducting an interview for the post of NOC Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Good knowledge of Linux environment
- Knowledge of Shell/bash Scripting
- Understanding of GIT and release management process and tools
- Ability to balance and prioritize work
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Excellent multitasking skills and communication skills – both verbal and written
- Ability to understand architectural designs
- Ability to work under high-pressure and agile environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Open to work in weekends/non-working hours whenever required
Qualifications and experience required:
- 0-2 years of experience in a technical support role
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Basic network diagnostic skills
- Basic Linux CLI skills
- Basic sysadmin skills
- Experience in use of Incident management platform like JIRA, BMC Remedy or equivalent is a plus
- Quick learner and ability to deal with flux and competing issues demanding attention
- Strong analytical skills and able to do event correlation based on data from multiple sources
- Ability to assess and priorities faults and respond or escalate accordingly
