Job description:
Maxim is seeking a senior/staff-level digital front-end implementation engineer to support ASIC product development efforts world-wide.
The engineer will join force with Design-for-Test (DFT) engineers and Physical Design engineers to provide complete design implementation solution for our business units. Applicant must be goal oriented, self-driven, have high professional standards and be able to work as part of a team.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance and implement RTL Qualification, Logic Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, and Equivalence Checking, Constraints Generation/Verification, Timing/SI Closure, Power Analysis/Optimization, Low-power Implementation/Verification, and Design Data Management flows and methodologies.
- Work closely with Design engineers, DFT engineers, and Physical Design engineers to provide front-end implementation services and tools/flows support.
- Qualify tools/flows and interface with EDA software vendors to drive tool enhancements and coordinate training.
- Detailed understanding of our automation flow and EDA tool functions. Perl/Tcl/Ruby/Shell scripting for flow and procedure automation.
