Oracle is conducting an internship for Engineers In United States.
The Oracle Health Sciences Global Business Unit is focused on delivering software solutions to help the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies positively impact people’s lives by supporting the cost-effective development of treatments for today’s most challenging health related issues. This opportunity will allow you to balance between pragmatic analytics and more advanced data science aspects of data analysis and visualization. Our intern/co-op program will give you all you need to show future employers you have the key skills required to take on any opportunity including data analysis, visualizations, teamwork, analytics, data science, JavaScript, and more.
You will get to work on projects and gain experience in the following areas:
- Creating new web-based applications to support the development teams.
- Developing functional prototypes as part of an incubation process.
- Solving problems with approaches to working with legacy products.
- Interacting with users via our Design team.
- Working on the tools that support our development process.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will come with energy and a desire to learn while having some experience in the following skillset:
- Understanding of JavaScript programming language
- Understanding of basic user experience concepts and approaches
- Understanding of Oracle database (11g,12c, 19c, PL-SQL and relational databases)
REST and web services concepts - Understanding of Java programming language
- Understanding of agile software development concepts and working in a team environment
- A team player willing to learn and be part of a distributed team
- Ability to self-manage tasks to get the job done

Qualifications:
- Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)
- New York City Pay Range: from $25.05 to $43.89 per hour; from $52,100 to $91,300 per annum.
- Colorado Pay Range: from $22.40 to $41.59 per hour; from $46,600 to $86,500 per annum.
- Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
- Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
