Job description:
Analog Devices is conducting an interview for the post of Digital Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Transistor-level analog circuit design and simulation
- Architect, implement and analyze trade-offs of analog blocks in use case environments
System and block level circuit simulation and modelling - Developing novel, innovative analog architectures, and patentable design IP.
- Supporting the evaluation team with troubleshoot of complex integrated circuit problems in the laboratory
- Interface with test, product and applications engineering to successfully bring new products from initial concept through production release
- Providing design support for current and legacy products
- Oversee and support analog layout
- Support inquiries from applications engineers
- Development of design review documentation, architecture overviews and technical requirement documentation.
- Collaborate with the ADI design community on best practice
Qualifications and experience required:
- The Ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Bipolar/BICMOS based high performance amplifiers
- Have a good understanding of CMOS based high performance amplifiers
- Have a good understanding of various switched capacitor topology
- Able to translate system level specifications to block level specs
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and processing
- Have experience with various amplifier compensation topologies
- Have a good understanding of noise in amplifier circuits and mitigation techniques
Motivated, results oriented and creative problem solver with good writing, presentation, and overall communication skills - Ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Knowledge of general lab equipment
- Must be self-directed, detail-oriented, and thorough with assigned tasks
