Clarivate is conducting an internship for Mechanical Engineers.
This is a great opportunity to work with Fortune 100 clients to support them on various phases in IP Life cycle management. Interns will work in the intellectual property (IP/Patents) domain where he/she will work on various projects such as re-classification projects, patent and non-patent prior art searching, infringement analysis, FTO, etc. Clarivate team consists of 40+ team members reporting to the Manager/Sr. Manager/VP. We would love to speak with you if you have skills in any of the above-mentioned services and/or have the aptitude to work on emerging technologies.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Working on re-classification of patents which is categorizing patents based on the technical domain.
- Preparing reports by performing patent/non-patent prior-art search and technical analysis to support clients on patent filing decisions.
- Quality Assurance – Adherence and compliance to set quality standards ensuring customer requirements are met in full.
- Updating technical skills proactively in upcoming technologies being widely used across the industry.
Qualification and experience required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Should have knowledge of mechanical engineering basic concepts such as hydraulics systems, HVAC, refrigeration systems, automobiles, and renewable energy resources.
- Must be a fast learner and must demonstrate a strong aptitude for out-of-the-box thinking and problem solving.
Hours of work:
This is an intern position requiring 40 hours per week based out of Noida. (Remote working is also feasible)
