Job description:
Tektronix is conducting an interview for the post of Application Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- The role evolves into a highly challenging techno-commercial role for technical consulting and generating revenues for high technology equipment and solutions.
- Enabling business growth in a highly technical environment
- Solve customer problems by simulation in the COE lab and by visiting customer labs.
- Provides customer training, technical consultancy and debugs customer problems.
- Develop innovative Solutions & Present technical papers in industry forums.
- Building technical content including demos, application notes, technical articles & articulate customer value
- Being a strong influencer in deciding the future product roadmap.
- Establish strategic technical partnerships across the different groups inside the company & build close relationships with the key customers
- Lead Technical& commercial conversation with customer to drive revenue growth
Qualifications and experience required:
- Graduate Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
- Interest in latest technical evolutions and applications (standards for High Speed Serial Data busses, wireless communication, Radar, optical data communication, Nano technology, semiconductor testing etc.).
- Knowledge of Core Electronic Engineering Concepts in one or more of following areas – (Digital & Analog Electronics, Communication, Power Electronics)
- Enthusiasm for customer interaction and relation building.
- Good communication, presentation & Problem-solving Skills.
- Flexibility, mobility, and readiness to travel across India region.
- High ethics standards of business conduct in today’s business environment.
