Job description:
Texas Instruments is conducting an interview for the post of ATE Engineer.
About the Group:
The wireless infrastructure product group focuses on the development of integrated transceiver SoCs targeted for wireless base station markets covering 3G/4G/4.5G/AAS technologies. Products based on low-IF, zero-IF and RF sampling architectures are developed by this team. These products comprise high performance RF front-end (wide-band VGA, Synthesizers, mixers, PPA, etc.), analog base-band, high speed converters (DAC, pipelined/Sigma-Delta ADCs), high speed digital front-end, signal processing algorithms, embedded micro-controllers, high speed interfaces, etc. These integrated transceivers support very high bandwidths, requiring high speed GHz data-path processing, and are developed in advanced sub-micron technology nodes, like 28 nm. Power consumption is a critical care about and needs to be addressed through differentiated architectures and designs. We are looking for passionate, creative and self-driven engineers who would challenge traditional techniques and come up with innovative solutions to make a difference.
Position: Analog Test Engineer
Domain: Mixed signal IC testing
Experience: 1-3 years of mixed signal IC testing
Primary responsibilities:
- Test development from product Kick off to release to market
- Design for test fixtures and test boards for complex Mixed Signal ICs
- Generate test code for characterization and production programs to meet the specifications of the device
- Fully characterize silicon in an ATE and summarize the data during new product development
- Utilize analog circuit analysis and Automated Test Equipment debug knowledge to troubleshoot test, quality, and device performance issues
- Production test solution development / optimization for Mixed Signal ICs that meets test cost goals and deliver solutions on time.
- To release high quality and highly reliable test solutions to our production partners on time and at cost entitlement
- Contribute to and drive the design for test/manufacturability of each product.
- Developing and documenting test plans, specifications and procedures for testing integrated circuits.
- Prepare customer samples to drive early adoption.
- Following standard practices and procedures to analyze data for evaluation of test solutions and driving improvement to existing methods
