Job description:

Synopsys is seeking a motivated and innovative engineer with exposure to digital design and Functional verification.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Shall be working as part of a highly experienced Functional verification team. This candidate will be contributing towards improving the quality of Synopsys Simulation tools, Product Release related operations & validating our tools on Cloud environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across various disciplines like Product Validation, R&D, Devops, Release Core Teams.

The candidate will be accountable for validation of Synopsys verification products on premise & on cloud environment.
The Engineer will design testing infrastructure and develop tests in Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL languages to validate the tool.
Accountable for reviewing benchmarks in-house and reporting the problems to help improve the product.
Executing verification plans, debugging RTL simulation failures.
Take ownership and drive on-time regressions, benchmarks convergence for VCS releases as per development and release process.
Accountable for VCS interop testing with 2nd and 3rd party products and manage the corresponding regression infrastructure.
Developing Automation which would help in Product Release and Validation activities.

Qualifications and skills Required:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in ASIC design or verification with a good knowledge of SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL.
Working experience on Unix environment is required.
Sound trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Perl is a big plus
Exposure any of the public cloud environment is a big plus.
Ability to drive high complexity technical tasks spread across multiple teams.
Intense Customer focus and Quality focus
Process oriented, matured and coolheaded to handle conflicting situations
Good relational skill, communication skill, follow up skill and a team player.
