Job description:

Microchip Technology is conducting an interview for the post of Lab Technician.

You will join IC design and implementation team targeting automotive and industrial applications. You will be part of the Silicon evaluation Lab activities, closely working with Design and Validation engineers while managing day to day activities of the Lab. And also working closely with customer requests and FA on bench evaluation.

Requirements / qualifications:

Diploma / ITI / B.E / B.Tech with 1 – 2 years experience.
Proficient in using Lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Function generators, Logic analyzers, DVM, Temp streamer)
Creating validation reports
Upkeeping of the products and components
Manage and Maintain Validation lab and equipment.
Experience in handling Boards and soldering components on PCB
Experience in measuring and debugging issues on the boards.
Able to handle shipping and logistics
Good understanding of Passive filters
Experience in automotive industry is a plus
Experience in Labview is plus
Experience in PCB design is plus
Basic knowledge of circuits and networks
Good at documentation both work and PPT
Ability to develop and maintain scripts (Perl/Bash)
Willingness to learn new things and ability to ask Questions
Should be a team player with good communication skills oral and written
