Job description:
Thomson Reuters is looking for passionate Software Interns to design, develop, test and provide software solutions for TR Tax & Accounting business.
The responsibilities for Software Interns include understand user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various programming languages.
Ultimately, the role of the Software Intern is to help build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
Technology:
Release Management: Good Scripting knowledge (preferably python), Communication Skills, Quick Learner.
Development: Good Communication skills, Logical & Analytical skills, knowledge on any programming language (preferably C#, ASP.Net) and knowledge on cloud would be add on.
Database: RDBMS (SQl, Oracle), Java Script Developers.
QA: C# by using JUnit/NUnit/Selenium, J-Meter, Programming, and analytical skills.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Works on problems of small and moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
- Able to apply knowledge and skills to solve straight forward problems.
- Acts under guidance to develop, test and document applications.
- Performs simple tests in strict compliance with detailed instructions.
- Systematically develops and validates applications.
Skills required:
- Passionate individuals looking to start their career in technology.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals including data structures & algorithms and relational database systems.
- Knowledge in C#, .Net, Core Java, object-oriented programming, and SQL.
- Good Problem Solving, Analytical and Troubleshooting skills.
- Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Self-starters with evidence of intellectual curiosity.
Qualifications required:
Engineering – M.Tech, MCA, MSc. IT or other equivalent degree
