Job description:
A3T Technologies is conducting an interview for the post of Printed Circuit Board Designer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- The candidate in this role will be responsible for any PCB design activity for one or more of its product solutions. This includes making schematics and layouts with the best industry-practices along with proper documentation of the guiding principles.
- The work will involve coordination and interaction with hardware design teams to freeze the design, with the procurement team to maintain the correct BoM and with the fabrication vendors to ascertain a feasible and cost effective PCB stack up.
- You need to be systematic and methodical in your approach and should be ready to train any juniors in the team.
Qualifications and experience required:
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience designing PCBs in an electronics company
- Experience in designing a multi-layer high speed board with two or more layers and
knowledge of layout good practices. - Experience in using PCB design tools like Cadence OrCAD, Altium and Cadence Allegro etc.
- Understanding of good layout practices and PCB manufacturing process.
- Excellent communication skills as the role entails interacting with domestic and
international vendors. - Good knack of planning and estimating the correct timelines of the project.
- Education: BE/B. Tech – ECE/EEE or equivalent
