Job description:
GlobalFoundries is conducting an internship for Engineers in Bangalore.
To strengthen the GlobalFoundries team they are seeking a Working Student available for 40 hours per week, available to start now. You will use your programming skills to develop our work on combining machine learning with TCAD (Technology Computer Aided Design). We are developing techniques for optimizing across a very large number of inputs and outputs, and you would combine TCAD simulations with measured data, to determine what are the key contributors to process variability.
The tasks include:
- data analysis for machine learning and model extraction
- scripting for conversion of process and device simulation decks
- data analysis of conventional transistor measurements
- The output will be clear summary reports, and clean, stable code.
Qualifications and experience required:
- You are studying for a Bachelor / Master / Diploma (i.e. an undergraduate student would be acceptable). Your area of study is computer science or engineering or hard sciences.
- You have a fundamental understanding of machine learning.
- You are good at writing code and you have a good command of Linux and Windows.
- You have good organizational and communication skills.
- You have good command of the English language (written and spoken).
- It is desirable to have some knowledge on semiconductor physics or electronics, although this is not a hard requirement.
