Job description:
Sercomm is conducting an interview for the post of Test Equipment Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
As a Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our products by designing and implementing effective testing processes. Your expertise in testing methodologies and tools will be vital in achieving optimal product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Design and execute test plans and procedures to ensure product quality and performance.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
- Troubleshoot and isolate testing equipment and PC malfunctions.
- Perform set-up, operation, maintenance, modification and calibration of testing equipment.
- Perform equipment adjustment and program changes to maintain equipment tolerances.
- Identify the equipment or processes that needs improvement.
- Ensure that equipment up time is above or within the standard set by the department.
- Organize and prioritize workloads.
- Provide guidance and work leadership to other technicians and operators.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Testing Engineer in the electrical/electronic manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in the electrical/electronic manufacturing industry
