Job description:
Rohde & Schwarz is hiring for the post of Development Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Development engineer will have exposure to cutting edge technology and solutions as part of the development tasks.
- Continual interaction with internal and external customers is part of the job profile.
- Apart from usual development activities, Development Engineer is required to support the Engineering team, on need basis, related to solutions to customers.
- Continual update of knowledge and skills, keep up with the technological advancements worldwide is part of the Development Engineer’s job profile.
- Development targets will be defined, reviewed and updated time to time.
- Task and schedule will be defined in a systematic framework with necessary progress reviews.
Qualifications required:
- BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics and Communication engineering with good exposure in Signal processing & Communication;
- Candidate must have experience in developing algorithms in signal processing/communication together with excellent domain knowledge of digital communication, coding theory, communication systems, detection & estimation theory.
- The candidate must have programming skills in C, C++, VC++ and Matlab, with positive attitude to quickly adapt to new programming environment.
- Open to work in a time bound, result oriented development schedules.
- Analytical skills to resolve problems in Signal Analytics.
- Self-learning ability towards solutions to problems related to signal analysis.
- Upto 2 years of R&D experience in the field of Signal Processing in Communication.
- Publication of research papers in renowned journals and conferences.
