Job description:
Micron Technology is hiring for the post of Memory Design Engineer.
In DRAM and Emerging memory Group (DEG) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of the team tasked with product design & development which includes designing, analyzing, verifying digital and analog circuits used in the development of DRAM memory products having advanced low power and power management technologies spread across multiple categories such as HBM4, DDR5, LPDDR5 and LPDDR6.
In this position, you will collaborate with Micron’s various teams all over the world and support the efforts of groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration & Assembly to proactively build products that assure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market and customer satisfaction.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge of Custom Circuit Design, Analog Design, Verification and Layout
- Familiarity with various memory design architectures
- Knowledge about complete product design and development flow including:
- Memory Design
- Power network development & analysis
- Reliability analysis and improvements
- State machine modelling, design and verification
- Verification methodologies and frameworks including behavioral modeling, Timing analysis, equivalence check
- Good understanding of Layout fundamentals
- Understand priority and optimize circuits for speed, capacitance, power, and area.
- Familiarity with a scripting language (Python, Tcl, Perl, etc)
- Good exposure to various CAD tools
Successful candidates for this position should have:
- Contributing to the development of new DRAM, emerging memory products and IP’s by enabling the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits.
- Supporting design validation & verification, reticle experiments and required tape-out revisions
- Performing verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry standard simulators
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other design and verification peers in verbal and written form
- A mindset and passion for continuous learning, innovation, success & teamwork
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Qualifications required:
- Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in Electronics Engineering or related engineering field
- 0 to 7 years’ experience in related industry technical experience.
