Job description:
Semtech is hiring for the post of System Hardware Intern.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Debug Analog / Digital design, mixed signal design and high speed design,
- Power supply design types: DC to DC converters, Switch mode Regulators and LDOs
DFMEA, VA/VE, DFM, DFT, Failure and Root cause analysis. - HW design and development process techniques and systems and language platforms.
- Product design knowledge with Application Processors, DDR subsystems, Industry leading protocols viz., PCIe, USB etc.
- Experience in handling equipment like Oscilloscope, DVMs, Signal Generators, RF measurement Spectrum analysers and debugging tools.
- Should be familiar with Linux /Windows OS, ability to code in Python or Equivalent
- Familiar with SW Concepts like Cloud API’s, Firmware development etc.
Requirements:
- Candidates who are with E&C discipline are eligible
- Successful candidates are part of Global hardware board design team, to build IOT router or Modules related products.
- Candidate must have interest in circuit board design career, Design implementation and verification.
- Good understanding of circuit theory and power supply implementation.
- Good Digital logic design skills, understanding of processor architecture.
- Good oral and written communication skills are must.
- Good knowledge of Transistors/MOSFETS/PLs/OPAMP all related to HW components and its applications
- Should be able to work in a team with Senior Colleagues
Minimum qualifications:
Education: Should have a minimum of Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering. E&C, Electronics Branch
