Calix is conducting an interview for the post of Graduate Trainee.
Job duties and responsibilities:
This is an on-site position in Bengaluru, India.
The Calix intern programs provide the opportunity to learn business skills, gain exposure to communications platforms, and contribute to a growing company.
The Jr Quality Engineer role is focused on supporting our team in many ways like Convert requirements into test scenarios. Support in executing those scenarios in applications. Prepare acceptance criterion or artifacts during test execution.
Similar positions or industry roles include Testing specialist, Test and Quality Engineer, or Application tester. Success is defined by delivering high-quality, innovative ideas content to our stakeholders. You will be challenged to be creative and deliver engaging/interactive content in time.
- Great learning attitude and aptitude to quickly learn basics of applications likes Salesforce and Oracle.
- Ability to understand the solution documents, flows and refinement documents with assistance from Manager or team member.
- Convert requirements into test scenarios and log in JIRA.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines in all deliverables.
- Utilize various tools and software to produce high-quality work.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and tailor presentations to meet the needs of different audiences.
- Conduct thorough reviews and editing of test scripts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Implement feedback and continuous improvement practices to maintain quality standards.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science Engineering or related Information Technology field graduating or post graduating in 2023 or 2024 or Students in the final year of their degree or those who have completed a relevant diploma or certification in Computer Science Engineering or related Information Technology field in 2024.
- A willingness to learn new applications, adapt, and apply new technologies and methodologies.
- Effective communication skills to convey concepts and ideas clearly.
- A creative mindset and the ability to approach problems innovatively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
