Job description:
Eaton is hiring for the post of PCB Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
The PCB Design Engineer will primarily work as part of the product development team providing the electronics design required for our products. This person shall have experience of designing PCB layout systems that are required to maintain the Isolation or safety requirements.
- Must have experience Schematic design along with PCB Design.
- Working with design engineer to understand the requirement
- Understanding qualifying certification aspects of the product and apply the same on the design.
- Bring in best practice from other parts of the company and from outside the company to avoid unnecessary learning cycles.
- Schematic capture and PCB layout design experience.
- Multi-layer complex PCBs design
- Handle project individually from schematics to Gerber and complete within timeline.
- DFM verification and implementing it in Layout
- Review existing designs and recommend improvements.
- Support to other functional team for layout design.
- Able to interface with Mechanical engineering team to understand physical constraints, design parameters and develop
- Strong understanding of schematic interpretation.
Job requirements:
- Possesses good knowledge of PCB design in Analog and Digital electronics.
- Schematic capture and PCB design knowledge
- Rigorous, methodical approach to design and problem solving.
- Good report and documentation writing skills.
- Good in Component selection and specification.
- PCB Design reviews
- Good communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical / Electronics.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in core domain as PCB Layout designer.
