IdeaForge is hiring Engineers in Navi Mumbai.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Part of Camera & video development team and will be responsible for design, development, optimization and productize video use cases on Qualcomm / Nvidia / Linux platforms
Requirements:
- Solid C/C++, multithreading and OS concepts fundamentals.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in multimedia framework (Nvidia / Qualcomm) and Video4Linux2 (V4L2).
- Knowledge of Video user space hardware abstraction layers like Codec2.0, OpenMax IL
- Linux Operating system (Kernel, Performance).
- Knowledge of video specification such as H.265/H.264/VP8/VP9
- Experience in several of the following areas: (Good to have)
- Video usage models including playback, streaming, camcorder, and content protection
Qualcomm / Nvidia multimedia frameworks and video related applications - Streaming protocols and implementation (e.g HLS/HTTP/RTSP/UDP/DASH)
- Linux device driver development and debugging (e.g-V4L2)
- Expertise in working with tools and techniques used on Linux (Windbg, JTAG, etc.)
- ARM or other embedded SoC development and debugging
Education requirements:
BE/BTECH ME/MTECH in EC/EE/CS or related field from reputed college institution
