Job description:
Pi Semiconductor is hiring for the post of Application Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Perform Bench Characterization for precision analog/mixed signal ICs, including bench automation, hardware design and develop characterization techniques.
- Supports ATE to develop the production test.
- Participate in new silicon testing from an application perspective to ensure robustness of the product.
- Work with design engineers to bring the new products.
- Create custom reference designs with associated software GUIs.
- Debug of customer problems by re-creating issues in our evaluation boards and/or customer boards.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related field.
- Good understanding of basic analog circuits.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of PCB schematic capture and layout tools.
- Proficiency in LabView software for automating test characterization setup.
- Competence in a high-level language such as C/C++ or Python.
- Good documentation and data processing skills
