Job description:
Renesas Electronics is hiring for the post of Physical Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- An opportunity to work on highly challenging design, i.e., low-power and high-speed designs.
- Responsibility includes participating in next-generation Memory Buffer Chips.
- Working closely with the design engineers and Analog team to ensure successful tape-out.
Qualifications and experience required:
- B.Tech/BE/ME/MTech or equivalent with 1-3 years hands-on experience in physical design.
- Experienced with ASIC design flow, methodologies, and understanding of deep sub-micron technology issues.
- Solid knowledge of STA. Setup/hold/cross-talk/SOCV.
- Having experience in sub 7nm designs is a plus.
- Power user of Cadence implementation tools, such as Genus, Innovus, Quantus, Tempus, PVS, and Voltus.
- Automation and programming-minded coding experience in Makefile/Tcl/Tk/Perl.
