Job description:

Micron Technology is looking for energetic, ambitious, and result-driven individual with strong work ethic and integrity to join as an intern for the Scribe Design Engineer.

Job duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you will be supporting development of advanced process technology through scribe test structure design and layout, CAD, and reticle creation. You will be working with various tools and techniques to provide decision making information to our customers. You will participate and collaborate with Micron’s various design and verification teams all over the world and support the efforts of groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly and Marketing, and others.

Develop and document new methods to optimize test structure designs to be recorded as Design-Of-Record.
Define Best Known Method from your learning and detail the thought process and the supporting data.
Build a strategy to automate the collection of both physical and electrical verifications.
Improve visibility of electrical metrics and compare results to defined targets.
Build automated scripts and/or program to organize information into visual results that give insight to the status of Test Structures based on physical and electrical results.
Work on a hands-on and collaborative project to understand and optimize OPC, DFM, CMP impact on Test Structures and include findings in Design-Of-Record document.
Identify potential opportunities of improvement, including areas which can be challenging to achieve during the internship period.
Contribute in a multidisciplinary project of Micron’s Mask Technology group.
