Job description:
Factana is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join the IoT Electronics Assembly team.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and assembly of electronic components and systems tailored for IoT applications.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative IoT solutions from concept to production, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with industry regulations.
- Responsible to assembly of electronic components, ensuring precise and reliable connections.
- Manual soldering of electronic components according to assembly instructions, and quality standards.
- Hand soldering of various electronic components like Surface Mount Devices (SMD) and through-hole components.
- Reworking & de-soldering through-hole and surface mount components and PCB work.
- Select appropriate components and materials for IoT applications.
- Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate the performance and reliability of IoT devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electronic assemblies and systems.
- Responsible for PCB, assemble PCB components as per the specification provided.
- Work with firmware engineers, software engineers, and other team members to integrate electronics into IoT products.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source and qualify components.
- Prepare list of materials, parts, and components as per technical spec for procurement.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software problems through collaboration with other colleagues
- Responsible in writing, fixing, and assembling IoT devices, enclosure, sensors and other hardware components.
Experience required:
0 – 1 years in Electronics, Electrical Assembling
Education Required:
- Diploma Electronics and Communication
- Must have Diploma in Electronics Engineering
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), and power management for IoT devices.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, assembling, and testing electronic circuits.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for electronic devices.
- High knowledge in hardware interfaces such as RS232, RS485, I2C, UART, and GPIO.
- Exposure in electronic components, electrical wiring and other mechanical instruments.
- Good hold on communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
