Job description:
Zeus Numerix is conducting an interview for the post of R&D Mechanical Design Engineer.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of principles of fluid dynamics & underlying physics in fluid products, especially turbomachinery like pumps, Turbines, compressors & turbochargers etc.
- Product development – (a) Components sizing from 1st principles based on hydraulic & strength requirements (b) Design and performance verification techniques & (c)
- Understanding of physical significance of each design parameter.
- Well-versed with Free body diagrams.
- Knowledge over selection criteria for standard parts like O-ring, Bearing & Fasteners etc. from the relevant standards.
- Basic Programming Knowledge of C++ and Python
- Good Mathematics
Soft skills required:
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills in English.
- Professionalism and team work.
Qualification required:
BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech – Fluid Mechanics / Thermal Engineering / Machine Design
