Job description:
Wipro is conducting an interview for the post of VLSI Engineer.
Role purpose:
This position focuses on developing VLSI systems by defining various functionalities, architecture, layout, and implementation tailored to client needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Verify module/IP functionality and provide support to customers.
- Understand the architecture of the module or IP, and establish a verification environment and development plan in accordance with Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
- Develop test benches and write test cases for one or multiple modules.
- Write or review code as needed.
- Execute test cases and debug them when necessary.
- Conduct functional coverage analysis and document test cases, including failures and debugging procedures, on SharePoint, JIRA, or other specified platforms.
- Test the complete IP functionality under regression testing and prepare documentation for client publication.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems efficiently and with minimal latency.
- Write scripts for the IP.
- Adhere to project plans and industry standards.
Reporting and documentation:
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation for clients.
- Provide weekly and monthly status reports to clients as required.
- Maintain documents and create a repository for all design changes, recommendations, and relevant information.
- Keep time-sheets updated for client reference.
- Deliver written knowledge transfer and project history documentation.
