Job description:
Sunsure is conducting an interview for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Objective of the role:
To acquire hands-on skills and practical experience in solar asset management, focusing on the smooth operation and maintenance of solar power plants.
Technical support:
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing the performance of solar power plants.
- Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to electrical systems.
- Aid in the preparation and review of technical documentation and reports.
Data analysis & design:
- Assist in creating plant layouts, preparing in-house drawings, and drafting technical specifications for AC electrical systems.
- Collect and analyze data from solar installations to identify trends and opportunities for performance improvement.
- Help develop predictive maintenance strategies based on data insights.
Operational support:
- Participate in day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of solar assets.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating maintenance tasks with field teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee the operation and functionality of the Central Monitoring Station (CMS) and the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Prepare weekly reports on issues raised by the site team based on CMS portal alerts.
Project management:
- Support project planning and execution for optimizing solar plant performance.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment maintenance and upgrades.
- Handle tasks related to PR creation, Goods Receipt Note (GRN), and bill posting in ERP and SAP systems.
Learning and development:
- Continuously engage in learning to stay updated on new technologies and best practices in solar asset management.
- Attend relevant training sessions, workshops, and industry conferences as needed.
Documentation and reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, performance metrics, and incidents.
- Assist in preparing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in the Handover Takeover (HOTO) transition from Projects to Asset Management.
Technical skills requirements:
- Educational background: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Technical knowledge: Basic understanding of solar power systems and electrical engineering principles.
- Software skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with knowledge of data analysis tools being an advantage.
Soft skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Adaptable and eager to learn new challenges.
Screening process:
- Round 1: Screening by T&A Team.
- Round 2: Interview with GM, Operations & Maintenance (O&M).
Qualifications:
- Education: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Open to fresh graduates.
