Role overview:

The Device Associate (DA) plays a critical role in executing test case instructions, analyzing automated regressions, and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of execution status. The DA ensures timely and quality delivery of test results.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute pre-defined test cases for software builds.
  • Accurately report bugs and discrepancies found during test execution.
  • Understand and adhere to testing guidelines for new builds/releases.
  • Conduct regression and repetitive tests, ensuring no compromise on quality.
  • Use software tools and dashboards for daily data capture.
  • Communicate and escalate test failures, providing regular status updates.
  • Raise and resolve test case execution failures and doubts through clarification portals as per SLAs.
  • Maintain lab and test farm environments.

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in fields like Science, Engineering, IT, ECE, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Familiarity with the Linux environment.
  • Interest in performing repetitive tasks with high energy and a proactive approach.
  • Sense of ownership, drive, and ability to meet daily deadlines.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge or experience in Embedded or Multimedia testing.
