Job description:
Cytiva is hiring for the post of Field Service Trainee.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, and planned maintenance for Cytiva’s range of Single Use, Downstream, and other biopharmaceutical equipment.
- Handle service requests efficiently, ensuring compliance with Cytiva’s service quality standards.
- Be available to work flexible hours, including off-hours and holidays, to meet customer needs.
- Help grow the service business by promoting and selling annual maintenance contracts (AMC), spare parts, validation, and automation solutions.
- Prepare and present commercial offers for service solutions, following up with customers and ensuring payment collection for rendered services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Biotechnology Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Skills & competencies:
- Ability to learn and execute tasks related to the installation and service of biopharmaceutical equipment, such as Upstream Bioreactors and Downstream Liquid Chromatography systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external customers.
- Willingness to learn industry-specific validation services and adhere to relevant standards.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to grasp and follow Cytiva’s internal processes, including reporting, escalation management, and revenue forecasting.
- Organized, with a commitment to high standards of work quality.
