Job description:
Molex is conducting an interview for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee.
What you will do:
- Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for analyzing fluid flow and heat transfer.
- Use Ansys Icepak for thermal analysis and design optimization.
- Perform hand calculations to validate simulation results and ensure their accuracy.
- Contribute to the thermal and fluid design of electronics packaging.
- Analyze and correlate test data with simulation outcomes, refining models as needed.
- Create detailed technical reports and document simulation methods and findings.
- Present results and provide design improvement suggestions to the engineering team and stakeholders.
Who you are:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform heat transfer and fluid flow hand calculations.
- Solid theoretical knowledge in fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
- Experience with CFD simulation tools, with a focus on fluid mechanics and thermal analysis.
- Familiarity with Ansys Icepak or Fluent is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electro-thermal and thermo-mechanical aspects of electronics design is an advantage.
