Job description:
Synopsys is conducting an internship for Engineers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other technical teams to solve problems and continually evolve the technology.
- Ensure compliance to Synopsys security policies such that stakeholder information is protected.
- Create/modify scripts to quicken troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
- Developing and implementing strategies for optimizing the use of compute and cloud resources, including the use of scheduling and resource allocation algorithms.
- Effectively manage disk space , resolve disk-related issues, compute and cloud. He will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation related to management processes and procedures.
- Monitoring the performance and availability of grid and cloud systems and identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
- Coordinating with other IT staff to ensure that the grid is functioning properly.
- Developing and implementing procedures for grid utilization
- Providing technical support to users of the grid
- Monitoring disk usage on servers and identifying potential issues with disk space.
- Implementing strategies for optimizing disk usage, such as moving or deleting unnecessary files and creating disk quotas for users.
- Troubleshooting disk-related issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic, Information Systems, or experience in related field is required.
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure, including automation and monitoring.
- Strong programming experience, preferably in Python, Bash and Powershell.
- Solid, hands-on experience working in Linux administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills are required.
