Emerson is hiring for the post of Project Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Implement customized software solutions based on Energy Solutions’ pipeline modeling software
- Configure, install, and fine-tune Energy Solutions’ Pipeline modeling systems
- Train operators at clients’ sites in Energy Solutions’ Software applications and technology
- Analyze project requirements compared with the capabilities of Energy Solutions’ Products
- Provide consulting services and training to clients. Extensive travel required.

For this role, you will need:
- Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering and experience in pipeline design or operations.
- Fresher or upto Two years’ experience in pipeline operations, pipeline design, pipeline software, pipeline hydraulics, pipeline modeling and leak detection systems.
- Knowledge of software systems applications
- Strong background in pipeline hydraulics
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, in order to provide stellar customer support Knowledge of C/C++ and Fortran Programming Languages, a plus.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with SCADA systems, instrumentation and process control
- Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
- Business knowledge of natural gas marketing and transportation would be a plus
- Oil & Gas experience.
