Job description:
As an Engineering Intern, you’ll work closely with the development team of GuideLite AI on all aspects of product development, from concept to deployment. You’ll gain experience across the full tech stack, enhancing your skills in front-end and back-end development, API integration, and product deployment, all while contributing to a real-world AI product.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, testing, and deploying web applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to create and implement new features.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high code quality and performance optimization.
- Work with both front-end and back-end technologies to create a seamless product experience.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing features to improve usability.
- Contribute to team meetings and project discussions to refine product design and functionality.
Preferred skills & qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field at a top-tier engineering college (e.g., IIT, NIT).
- Strong foundation in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with React framework.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies like Node.js, Express, and databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- A proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn.
