Techolution is looking for an experienced and versatile Mechatronics Engineer Intern to join the innovative design and hardware team. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge mechatronic systems, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design, prototype, and refine innovative products.
Title: Mechatronics Engineer Intern
Roles & responsibilities:-
- Develop and assemble electronic prototypes using PTH & SMD soldering techniques.
- Design and simulate circuits and PCBs using tools like Altium or equivalent.
- Work on embedded firmware development and optimization.
- Utilize Industrial communication protocols- I2C, I2S, UART, SPI for hardware communication.
- Design and integrate motors, actuators, and sensors into mechatronic systems.
- Perform hardware assembly and conduct unit and system-level testing.
- Transition prototypes into commercial/industrial-grade products.
- Apply advanced prototyping techniques, including CNC machining, PCB printing, 3D printing, and laser cutting.
- Work effectively in a team environment to achieve project milestones.
- Deliver public presentations and product demonstrations with excellence.
Mandatory skills:
- Hands-on experience with electronics prototyping, soldering (PTH & SMD), and circuit/PCB design.
- Experience in embedded firmware development and optimization.
- Practical understanding of electronic hardware components such as resistors, capacitors, microcontrollers, and systems.
- Strong grasp of hardware design for motors, sensors, and electro-mechanical systems.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and resolving electronic hardware and system issues through effective troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficient in hardware assembly and conduct unit and system-level testing.
- Hands on experience working with Industrial Communication protocols- SPI, I2C, I2S, and UART.
- Experience in hardware assembly and testing at unit and system levels.
- Experience delivering public presentations and product demonstrations with excellence.
Advanced skills:
- Knowledge of COBOT programming and Robotic Grippers.
- Ability to transition designs into fully functional commercial or industrial-grade products, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Experience with advanced prototyping techniques, including CNC machining, PCB printing, 3D printing, and laser cutting.
- Solid technical proficiency in mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, including motors, actuators, and associated components.
