Job description:
Gainsight is conducting an internship for Computer Science Engineers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and testing of software applications using Python, Java, or C++.
- Collaborate with team members on coding projects and work through challenging technical problems.
- Support database management by performing basic SQL queries, including SELECT, JOIN, RANK, and working with date functions.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles, such as inheritance, method overriding, and method overloading, to enhance project functionality.
- Participate in team meetings, presentations, and code reviews to improve code quality and project alignment.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or C++).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of programming basics.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with commands like SELECT, JOIN, RANK, and date-related functions.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, including inheritance, method overriding, and method overloading.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
