Micron Technology is conducting an internship for Engineers in Hyderabad.
Job duties and responsibilities:
The Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for supporting the infrastructure, system provisioning, internal development platform, and CI/CD pipelines for Micron’s custom equipment and engineering teams around the world as part of the Assembly & Test organization.
The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team implements and maintains the CI/CD software stack, looks for opportunities to automate toil, and provides the infrastructure for OS and software distribution to developers and equipment worldwide.The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for automation, software development, developer enablement and system administration.A background in computer science and system administration allows the SRE to not only solve traditional administration tasks from an engineering perspective but also provide force multiplication of existing application and software engineering teams.You will be expected to collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers as well as management to define and deliver OS and infrastructure roadmaps.
Successful members of the SRE team need to be able to embrace and thrive in an environment that is constantly changing as well as have an aptitude for finding and embracing new technologies.
Essential:
- Design/Develop/Administer solutions with Docker / Kubernetes.
- Linux Administration utilizing automation tools such as Ansible.
- Develop & Debug in Python, Go, C++ as well as other languages.
- Identify reliability and resiliency issues in complex systems and work with developer teams to resolve them.
- Develop relationships with other engineering teams to define developer and system infrastructure roadmaps.
- Respond to incident tickets providing timely resolution for mission critical systems.
- Continuously look for opportunities for both personal, team, and platform improvement.
Qualifications required:
- Familiarity with debuggers, compilers, source control, and networking architectures.
- Familiarity with Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes clusters
- Familiarity with high availability concepts and architectures
- Passion for automation, toil reduction, and engineer enablement
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Experience with Jenkins or another CI/CD tool
