About the Electrical department:
The Electrical Department at the Central Engineering Center (CEC) of Dow India plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of electrical systems across various facilities. This department is responsible for designing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical infrastructure to support Dow’s manufacturing and research activities. Internship project area opportunities:
- Electrical Design & Detailed Engineering of Process Plants
- Exposure to key aspects of Electrical Infrastructure Projects
- Power System Study and Analysis including Arc-Flash Protection.
- Electrical Substation Design. Sizing, Selection and Procurement Engineering of Transformers, Motors, UPS, VFDs, Generators, Motor Control Centers, Switchgears, Cables etc.

- They would be given chance to work with Multifunction team from various regions and stakeholders.
- Their engagement will be working with the Project teams, latest construction techniques with SMEs & Construction Teams.
- Expected result from the internship is to generate potential Know how about the Civil Project execution and Constructions techniques in Civil Engineering field.
- This project will provide the team an overall perspective of Engineering, Project Execution and Construction areas of Industrial Projects.
