Manastu Space is conducting an internship for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineers in Navi Mumbai.
Job duties and responsibilities:
As a System Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our engineering and project teams, gaining hands-on experience in space systems design, development, and integration. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge space propulsion systems while enhancing your technical and project management skills.
Key responsibilities:
System Architecture and Design:
- Assist in designing and conceptualizing system architectures for space propulsion systems.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure system designs align with mission objectives and industry standards.
Requirements Management:
- Support the development and documentation of system requirements based on project needs.
- Learn and apply NASA systems engineering processes for requirements analysis and documentation.
Testing and Validation:
- Participate in planning and executing system-level tests for propulsion systems.
- Collaborate with testing teams to analyze results and recommend improvements.
Documentation:
- Assist in creating technical reports, specifications, and system documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry-standard documentation practices.
Risk Management:
- Support the identification and assessment of potential risks in system development.
- Assist in formulating risk mitigation strategies.
Project Coordination:
- Work with project managers to ensure tasks align with project goals and timelines.
- Attend team meetings and contribute technical insights.
Qualifications required:
Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Skills and Interests:
- Interest in space propulsion systems and a passion for space safety.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Basic understanding of systems engineering principles.
- Familiarity with NASA systems engineering processes or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of manufacturing or production processes is a plus.
