Job description:
Cyient is looking for freshers Electronics Engineers in Bangalore.
Qualification required:
M.E/ M.Tech of Power Electronics graduated in 2023 & 2024 with no prior work experience
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Report to Lead Electrical Engineer.
- Develop and validate power electronics for high power distribution systems, power converters, SMPS.
- Design and verification of power electronic circuits, digital logic circuits, microcontroller and analog sensing & signal conditioning circuits.
- Record specification designs, concept diagrams, schematic drawings, bills of materials and test data/reports, documentation like HRD,HDD, ATP, HTP etc.
- Prepare product or system layout and detail drawings and schematics.
- Board bring up, prototype testing, product/system testing, troubleshooting and debugging of power electronics & systems.
- Create test procedures to verify hardware designs, Check engineering test results for application to system developments.
- Build test equipment to qualify electronic modules for production.
- Follow standard process for aerospace/defense applications Design, develop and verify as per the product specifications following applicable standards(DO-160G, MIL-STD, IEC)
Skills required:
- Basic electrical and electronics
- Power converters like buck, boost, flyback, rectifiers, inverters
- Control systems and various control techniques used in power converters/inverters
- Magnetics (Inductors, transformers)
- Power devices – MOSFETs, IGBTs, Diodes
- Simulation tools – MATLAB/Simulink, Pspice/LTspice

Work Shifts: General shift – 09:00 AM to 06:30 PM
Working days: Monday to Friday. Occasionally there may be a need of additional work on weekends based on project demand
Mode of work: Work from office (may vary based on management discretion). Documents to be produced for joining
Non-eligibility:
- Less than 60% throughout the education
- Pursuing any regular education now
- Who have prior work experience / currently working
- Who don’t have all their educational certificates (from SSC till highest education)
- Undergone the selection process for any other position with Cyient in last 3 months
